A Scottsdale activist filed an ethics complaint against Planning Commissioner Kelsey Pasquel after her comments about “fake” citizen opposition to the Papago Plaza redevelopment — a project in which her new husband is involved.
A Scottsdale activist filed an ethics complaint against Planning Commissioner Kelsey Pasquel after her comments about “fake” citizen opposition to the Papago Plaza redevelopment — a project in which her new husband is involved.
Papago Plaza, an iconic south Scottsdale shopping center which has stood mostly vacant for years, will be torn down in the next few months to make way for a contemporary mixed-use development.
Dozens of residents lobbied the city last year for more public input on the project. Last week, Pasquel suggested that opposition to the project was “fake.”
