There’s no place like dome: Unique Paradise Valley house hits market photo / KTAR

A one-of-a-kind Paradise Valley home with a star-studded history is on the market.

The exotic abode, known as The Dome at Casa Blanca, served as the Sultan’s Table restaurant and cocktail lounge at the Casa Blanca Inn until the property was converted to a luxury gated community.

The Casa Blanca Inn was a winter getaway for Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin and Betty Grable, and President Dwight Eisenhower was known to vacation there, according to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty.

The home, located just east of Camelback Mountain, near Chaparral and Invergordon roads, was listed last month with an asking price of $1,175,000.
