Abrazo will build a new hospital in Surprise

Abrazo Community Health Network will construct a new hospital near Loop 303 and Bell Road in Surprise. The hospital is expected to open in spring 2020.

Abrazo Surprise Hospital will focus on providing emergency care and less complex medical procedures. It will include a 13-bed emergency department, an operating room and eight inpatient rooms, along with additional services.

The Abrazo Surprise Hospital is a new kind of hospital created with an emphasis on convenience and efficiency, and the second of its type for Abrazo, according to Abrazo Community Health Network CEO Frank Molinaro.
