Peoria Mayor Cathy Carlat delivered her fifth state of the city address to a sold-out room of nearly 180 community leaders at a business sponsored event, April 25, at the Peoria Sports Complex Colonnade Room.
When Ms. Carlat first took office in 2015, she outlined an agenda to move the city forward. Over the past four years, she has been working closely with the City Council and city leadership to guide Peoria’s transition from a bedroom community.
With a commitment to fiscal accountability and transparency, she shared the vast possibilities of a complete city, while reaffirming her focus on attracting quality development and employers that will benefit residents and enhance Peoria’s built and natural environments, according to a news release.
