Which city is the best fit for you? That may depend on your age.

A recent study published by Homes.com ranked the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the United States according to how well they met the needs of baby boomers (ages 55 to 74), members of Generation X (35 to 54) and millennials (20 to 34).

One factor considered was the percentage of people in each age group living in a given area: The larger the share, the higher an area was ranked for that particular generation.
