Flagstaff is the latest city to wrestle with electric scooters including restrictions and regulations.
The Flagstaff City Council will discuss electric scooters and electric bikes at a meeting Tuesday.
It will review staff proposals on scooters which have become popular with tourists, college students and other young adults.
The progressive city, which is home to Northern Arizona University and a popular downtown and restaurant area, could restrict scooters use on sidewalks, require permits for e-scooters and bike companies and create fines for leaving or dumping the scooters and bikes in public spaces.
