Glendale City Hall / City of Glendale

The Glendale City Council approved rezoning of part of a church campus on 75th Avenue near the Loop 101 freeway.

The rezoning allows for a new retail center to be developed on the Dream City Church site, which was long known as the Community of Joy church.

The Glendale council voted 6-0 on Tuesday in favor of rezoning a 1.4-acre parcel at 75th Avenue and Rose Garden Lane on the church campus.

Simon CRE is working with the property owner to bring a coffee shop, breakfast restaurant and fitness center to the Arrowhead site.
