With nearly 550 fulltime workers, the city of Goodyear has a lot to manage. And as any business owner would recognize, it is imperative to maintain staff’s wellbeing.
Ultimately, Goodyear has proven successful in that realm.
The Arizona Department of Health Services and the Maricopa County Department of Public Health have designated the city of Goodyear with the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program’s platinum designation, which is designed to help employers with the successful implementation of worksite wellness initiatives.
When it comes to efforts to have a positive impact on worker wellbeing, Goodyear emphasizes what is considered the “whole employee” — that means everything from financial and career wellbeing to social, physical, emotional and health-related needs.
