As thrilled as they are to be doing business in Pinal County, top housing developers say there are never enough materials and labor as inflation whittles their margins.
They appeared in a panel discussion hosted by Pinal Partnership Friday morning at Encanterra Country Club.
“We’re happy to be in Pinal County, it’s been good to us,” PulteGroup Vice President Greg Abrams said.
He said the company has perhaps $200 million invested at Anthem at Merrill Ranch in Florence, and it’s proving to be a good investment. The company has closed 3,000 homes in Anthem, or about 250 to 300 a year, and they still have about 3,000 acres to work with.
