Waymo partners with Lyft to offer driverless rides in metro Phoenix [VIDEO]

More metro Phoenix ride-share customers will soon have the option to go driverless.

Waymo on Tuesday announced plans for a partnership that will allow Lyft users to ride in its self-driving vehicles.

CEO John Krafcik said in a Medium post the new partnership will start with Waymo deploying 10 of its self-driving vehicles to Lyft over the next few months.
