Chandler asked to continue Mountain View Estates plans

Chandler is looking at plans to rezone land at Riggs and Lindsay roads for residential subdivision.

W Holdings wants the city to rezone 7.3 acres of land from agricultural to single-family residential. Development plans call for 17 new homes to be built on the site called Mountain View Estates.

The Chandler Planning & Zoning Commission is asking the City Council continue that request until its August 8 meeting so the developer can work with neighbors.

The Chandler City Council will consider the extension at today’s meeting.
