Chandler moving closer to two new downtown restaurants

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Plans continue to progress in downtown Chandler to bring two new restaurants to the former Modern Margarita and La Bocca Urban Kitchen location.

A fire closed those two restaurants in 2017.

The Chandler City Council is hearing plans this week by Desert Viking Development to bring two new restaurants to the Boston Street restaurant property.

Tipsy Egg and The Uncommon are slated to takeover the restaurant space, according to city officials.

The Chandler council could vote Thursday on plans to create a larger patio area for the restaurant spaces at One East Boston Street.

Chandler has been looking to bring more restaurants to it downtown area.
