Lena Fowler named Coconino County Board of Supervisors Chair

The Coconino County Board of Supervisors has named District 5 Supervisor Lena Fowler chair of the board to replace District 1 Supervisor Art Babbott, who just completed his term.

District 4 Supervisor Jim Parks has filled Fowler’s vacated position as vice-chair. Their terms began Tuesday during the board’s regular meeting and will end March 10, 2020.

For 10 years, Fowler has served as the supervisor of District 5, the northernmost region of the county that includes Tuba City, Page, Kaibeto, Fredonia, LeChee and the Grand Canyon North Rim.
