Jeremy Ramsdell is vice president of acquisition of Ashton Woods Homes. And not surprisingly, his busy and early workdays are spent working land deals and helping navigate the home builder’s growth and moves in Arizona. We caught up with Jeremy who gave us a rundown of a recent workday.
4:50 a.m.: Started the day, checked email.
5:15 a.m. 6:00 a.m.: Went for a run.
7:00 a.m.: Met a land seller at his property.
8:30 a.m.: Met with members of our sales staff regarding an exciting new community opening this month.
9:30 a.m.: Finalized contract negotiations on a land deal.
10:00 a.m.: Reviewed new business plan projections for land spend.
11:30 a.m.: Quick lunch out of the office at the usual place. Excited to see that they remembered my order.
12:15 p.m.: Return calls and emails.
1:00 p.m.: Reviewed new deals.
2:00 p.m.: Met with the land team to talk about current development projects.
3:30 p.m.: Reviewed new deals.
7:00 p.m.: Dinner at home with the family.
10.00 p.m.: Hit the hay.
