Brookfield selects first 2 homebuilders for West Valley master-planned community

Community slated to open next year

Brookfield Residential Arizona has selected the first two homebuilders for its 1,130-acre Alamar master-planned community in Avondale.

Scottsdale-based Shea Homes will build 82 homes, and Newport Beach, California-based Landsea Homes will build 75 homes within the development’s first phase, which includes 461 homesites within six neighborhoods at Alamar, which is just north of the Sierra Estrella Mountains at Avondale and Broadway boulevards.

The community is slated to open in 2020.
