Canadian developer proposes infill subdivision in Glendale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

A Canadian developer wants to build 47 single-family homes on vacant land in Glendale on 67th Avenue and near Maryland Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

The Glendale Planning Commission will consider rezoning request from the Genica Group Companies for 9.9 acres of land for a proposed infill residential development called Glendale 10.

Genica is asking the Planning Commission to rezone the property from high-density residential to medium-density residential.

The Canadian company said construction could start later this year if it gains city of Glendale approvals. The Planning Commission will consider the zoning request at its meeting tomorrow.
