Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has a 53 percent approval rating, according to survey data from Morning Consult.

Twenty nine percent of voters surveyed disapprove of Ducey’s job performance while 18 percent didn’t have an opinion.

Ducey’s current rating ranks the Arizona Republican 20th among U.S. governors for their approval ratings.

Morning Consult collected the approval rating data over the course of the first quarter.

Ducey has been touting Arizona’s job gains and business climate. He’s also stayed loyal to President Donald Trump during recent and continued political fights over immigration and tariffs.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, a Republican, had the highest job approval numbers at 73 percent. Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, a Democrat and Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, a Republican, had the lowest approval ratings with 32 percent, according to Morning Consult.
