Taylor Morrison, Mesa homebuilder join forces to tap single-family rental hybrid market

Company ramping up to build thousands of hybrid rentals in Arizona

Taylor Morrison Home Corp. is getting into the single-family rental market.

The Scottsdale homebuilder has inked an exclusive strategic partnership with Mesa-based Christopher Todd Communities to build the popular hybrid rental products.

These residences are a hybrid between an apartment unit and a single-family home. They typically are single-story, detached, with a small backyard patio. They include amenities such as a pool and fitness center.

Homes range from 700 square feet to 1,000 square feet with monthly rental rates ranging from $1,150 for a single bedroom up to $1,500 for two-bedroom homes.
