Trammell Crow proposes $60M apartment redevelopment on Scottsdale Road

Trammell Crow Residential has submitted plans with the city of Scottsdale for a new $60 million, 279-unit apartment complex on Scottsdale Road in between McDowell and Thomas roads.

The Alexan Scottsdale development is on Palm Lane. The property is mostly vacant expect for a bar and two businesses facing Scottsdale Road.

The multifamily development is slated to have studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, according to plans submitted with the city.

Trammell Crow has submitted site, design and height plans with Scottsdale’s Development Review Board. The Scottsdale City Council approved rezoning the property for the planned apartment development in May.

Development plans call for co-working space and offices for the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association to go along with two, three and four-story buildings.

There have been new apartments built as well as proposed in south Scottsdale. A number of new multifamily development are also proposed for Old Town Scottsdale and the city’s southern areas.
