Following the approval of a license agreement during Monday’s City Council meeting, Global Water will be partnering with the city of Coolidge to provide water services to incoming developments.
Global Water Resources owns and operates multiple water, wastewater and recycled water utilities around Arizona. GWR is the fourth largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility in Arizona, owning 12 utilities in the Metro Phoenix area. However, the company is best known as the main water utility in the city of Maricopa.
The license agreement will enable Global Water to provide water and wastewater services to city planning areas located south of State Route 287. Among the projects to be built within the planning area is Nikola Motor Company’s manufacturing facility, which is to be constructed on land acquired along Houser and Vail roads.
