The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. LLC announced Wednesday it will open its latest Arizona resort in the summer of 2020.
Construction is well underway on the Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley, which will span across 20 acres and will have 215 guest rooms.
“We are thrilled to expand our resort portfolio with the Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley and look forward to bringing our legendary service to Scottsdale, a destination that has long been alluring to luxury travelers,” Lisa Holladay, the global brand leader for the Ritz-Carlton, said in a statement.
Currently there is only one Ritz-Carlton property in Arizona, the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Tucson. There was a Ritz-Carlton hotel near 24th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, but Marriott International Inc. (Nasdaq: MAR), Ritz-Carlton’s parent company, tranformed that property into the The Camby, which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
