Company founder expects to see brands spread across the U.S.

One of Phoenix’s best-known restaurateurs grabbed headlines in July when he sold his business comprised of nearly 50 eateries across the country to the publicly traded restaurant giant, Cheesecake Factory Inc.
The big question for Sam Fox, who sold his Fox Restaurant Concepts, which includes 10 restaurant brands such as the Henry, Blanco Tacos & Tequila, Flower Child, North Italia and Culinary Dropout, is what happens next.
One part of the deal, worth $308 million, that caught the public’s attention is that Fox, the CEO and founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is staying on and will run FRC as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Cheesecake Factory (Nasdaq: CAKE).
