Property being renovated for Indiana physician looking to add behavioral health services in the Valley

A Scottsdale developer paid $10 million for an old building across the street from Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix with plans to develop a behavioral health clinic using “opportunity zone” funding.

Chris Loeffler, CEO and co-founder of Caliber-The Wealth Development Co., said he will invest $9.5 million of opportunity zone funding to renovate the 62,596-square-foot facility for Dr. Cameron Gilbert, who owns and operates South Bend, Indiana-based NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals.

It will be NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals’ debut in Arizona, as Gilbert plans to add more facilities nationwide.
