(Editor’s note: News releases are published as submitted unless there are errors of fact.)

This month marks a year since Harvard Investments hosted the Grand Opening for Cadence at Gateway. Phase One homes are now 85 percent sold and all available homes will likely be sold out by year end.

Newport Homes, a local builder, is expected to have models open early 2020 with 82 homes and one additional neighborhood. The Newport Homes neighborhood, The Strand at Cadence, will include two-story homes in groupings of six. Lot sizes are 42’ by 50’ with three different floor plan options. These homes will be designed specifically for Cadence showcasing the Newport Homes Coastal Contemporary elevations and color schemes, including various wood siding locations, sand finish stucco, and brick accents to deliver a one-of-a-kind look at entry home pricing.

Cadence has become known for its premier amenities including a resort-style pool complex with double twisty water slides, spa, lap pool and ramada, outdoor tennis, sports and bocce ball courts, indoor fitness center, spin room, yoga studio and games area.

Cadence current home builders include:

  • Lennar, four neighborhoods and 256 homes
  • Pulte Homes, three neighborhoods and 193 total homes
  • Gehan, one neighborhood and 54 homes
  • David Weekly, one neighborhood and 72 homes
  • Newport Homes, one neighborhood and 82 homes

Combined, these five builders offer 52 different floor plans for a variety of individuals and families, from empty nesters to large families, to those buying their first or second home. The community’s elementary school, Silver Valley, opened this summer, as did Eastmark High  across the street. Both schools offer award-winning academics, athletics, arts and STEM programing and instruction for children and teens.
