Arizona Republicans are headlining an anti-impeachment rally and press conference Tuesday for President Donald Trump’s campaign following a whistle-blower complaint that Trump pressed Ukraine’s president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading 2020 candidate, and his son.
Kelli Ward, Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman, and state Sen. Vince Leach, R-Tucson, will appear Tuesday at an 11:30 a.m. event titled, “Stop the Madness!” The rally and press conference will be outside Congressman Tom O’Halleran’s, D-Ariz., office in Casa Grande.

The political move touts a push for “Rep. Tom O’Halleran to drop the impeachment witch hunt and get back to work on issues Arizonans actually care about,” according to a statement from Samantha Zager, regional communications director for the Trump Victory campaign, which is co-hosting the press conference and rally with the Arizona Republican Party.
Ward will also appear with Pima County Republican Party Chairman David Eppihimer at a similar press conference targeting Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz.
