An apartment developer has bought a piece of Park Central in midtown Phoenix, where it’s planning a nine-story complex near Creighton University’s new medical school.
The Dinerstein Cos. of Houston paid $7.1 million for a 1.6-acre site on the southern side of the former mall at Central and Earll avenues, according to public records.
The developer plans a complex with 278 apartments, where there is currently a parking lot.
Rents for the apartments in the complex to be called Millennium at Park Central aren’t available yet. The developer specializes in high-end urban projects.
