Maracay, a leader in Arizona’s residential real estate industry, has sold its 100th home at Avance, an upscale urban community that opened at the base of South Mountain in Phoenix in May. All-new, modern architectural home designs, proximity to downtown Phoenix and South Mountain Park, resort-style amenities and a strong economy are being credited with the rapid pace of sales.
“There is nothing like Avance in the Greater Phoenix Area and the high volume of sales reflects the demand for elevated yet accessible mountain living in this market,” Maracay Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jennifer Stanton said. “Homeowners, particularly those who work downtown, are excited to have a choice that beautifully blends city living with expansive opportunities for outdoor recreation and a tailored community atmosphere.”
From the moment Avance opened in May, the community has garnered notable attention, drawing in 3,000 potential homebuyers on its opening weekend and selling 65 homes in its first 60 days. Maracay President Andy Warren has previously attributed interest in the community in part to a recent tech boom in Phoenix, which has leased more than 620,000 square feet of office space to tech sector employers since 2016. And, statistics indicate more than 70,000 people visit downtown Phoenix every day.
