A new poll released Monday shows that independent voters will play a big role in Arizona’s 2020 elections, says one expert.
Jacqueline Salit, president of IndependentVoting.org, told KTAR News 92.3 FM polls often leave out independents, so it was good the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University included them.
“Given that this survey is taking place in Arizona, that’s particularly crucial, because 33% of the state identifies themselves as independents,” Salit said.
“So that’s a very, very significant portion of the electorate.”
