[REGIONAL NEWS] New ‘Welcome to Nevada’ sign coming to I-11 at Arizona border By Jordan Gartner | KTNV-TV

NDOT says the sign will make for a unique gateway entry into the state that will also remain lit at night.

A new sign on the interstate will soon greet drivers heading to Nevada from Arizona.

The Nevada Department of Transportation is installing a “Welcome to Nevada” sign along northbound Interstate 11 at the Arizona border.

The monument will stand nearly 20-feet tall and 8-feet wide. It will have a colorful design featuring an extruded state of Nevada silhouette with bold lettering.

The sign will also have a $396,090 price tag with Las Vegas Paving working on the project as the general contractor.
