5:20 am — Is it already 5:20? — change fast, zoom off to hot yoga with hubby, Adam Nach
6:40 — Hot yoga … Namaste… feeling like a new person, and ready to take the day on….
7:00-8:30 — With a clear head, prepare for the day, by reviewing schedule, documents and reviewing/responding to email from clients, employees and others
8:30 — Shower and walk to client meeting at the Anchor Center. Love living and working in the heart of the city (office is 3.5 blocks from home). We are living a vertical, urban lifestyle!
9:00 — Meet with client, contractor and project manager on site, to review TIs, scheduling and completion of work. We have had some difficulty with the assigned Project Manager, and this client needs “white glove” treatment, and on-time delivery (current lease provides for 2x penalty in the event of holdover).
10:00-11:30 — CRE Weekly meeting — meet with CRE team to review deals in escrow to ensure they stay on track, active, pre-market and prospective deals. What a team! 2019 YTD, we closed 24 sale transactions, 13 deals (sales) in escrow, 3 pending leases, 4 transactions under negotiation, and 24 active listings. It is busy!! Working hard, straight through the end of the year!!
11:45-1:00 — Lunch with long-time friend and client at The MacIntosh, at Town and Country. Love that there are so many amazing restaurants close by!
1:00-1:30 — Email catch-up and quick return phone calls.
1:30-2:30pm — Met with staff and counsel regarding the final accounting and reporting to wrap up of the Epicenter Case (where Beth Jo served as BK Trustee; 96.5 acres at Desert Ridge and 4 acres just North of C-back and Scottsdale Road).
2:30-3:00 — Email catch-up
3:00-4:00 — Met with Brokerage Ops Manager to review current court-appointed brokerage assignments, and review two motions in response to contested sales and two uncooperative parties
4:00 — Marketing Meeting — met with Marketing Manager and other staff members to review and prepare for upcoming presentations, finalization of company brochure, SEO strategies, conferences and holiday cards and gifts.
5:00-6:20 — Back at the email to address remaining emails and gear up for tomorrow!
6:30 — Dinner with hubby (Adam Nach), Mom and Dad, to celebrate Dad’s 79th b-day… Dad inspires me in many ways. Still golfing three days a week, and enjoying his work every day. Dad is “retired”, and no longer practices medicine, but conducts Independent Medical Exams for employers and insurers and functions as an expert witness in court — 8 IMEs tomorrow, in Tucson. Go, Dad!! We jointly say… Bring those birthdays on, but slow ‘em down!
