Tis the season for giving and as he often does Valley Philanthropist and Real Estate Entrepreneur Michael Pollack certainly can’t resist the chance to give back to a cause that is near and dear to his heart.

On Monday, December 23rd starting at 9:00am Pollack will treat 20 Valley families to a $ 10,000 Holiday Shopping Spree at Goodwill located at 7850 S. Priest Dr. Tempe, AZ 85284.

Each family will receive a $500shopping spree that includes gift cards for groceries and gas plus the opportunity to load up their carts with clothes, furniture, toys, household items and Christmas gifts at Goodwill for the holiday season.

That morning Pollack will also make another $100,000 donation to Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona so that money can go back to helping put more Arizona families back to work this holiday season.

“Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is doing some amazing things in our community with providing jobs, career centers and the resources to put people to work,” said Michael Pollack. “There is no other place I’d rather be this Monday morning and see my dollars go to work this holiday season than at Goodwill.  I can’t wait to treat 20 hardworking families to a $500 shopping spree. This is what Christmas is all about and the best way to celebrate the holiday season.”

Goodwill President and CEO Tim O’Neal says Pollack’s generous donation of $110,000 will help impact the lives of thousands of Arizonans in need of a better future.

“Through this donation, Goodwill can expand our training service offerings into new and existing communities helping individuals and families gain meaningful employment and move out of poverty. His generosity to our community is second to none. In addition, he’s making the holidays brighter for 20 families by providing a shopping spree at one of our stores. These families have been utilizing our career centers to find work or gain new computer skills. We are so grateful for Michael’s commitment to our mission and appreciate his generous donation this holiday season,” said O’Neal.
