Is it really the holidays without a cup of cheer? What started out as an idea at Vestar, is now an enticing and state-first original among Arizona shopping centers. At Desert Ridge Marketplace, the holidays are sure to be holly jolly as you can purchase alcoholic beverages and carry them with you as you enjoy the decorated scenery, festive events, and unparalleled shopping.
Inaugural this holiday season, shoppers 21 and older may purchase beer, wine, cocktails, and seasonal spirits like hot toddies, spiked cocoa, and spiced sangria from a mobile bar stationed outside of Copper Blues Live.
Then, with drink in hand, feel free to stroll the center while enjoying nightly snowfalls, holiday movies, live music, and various outdoor amenities. The drinks aren’t allowed inside of the stores, but you can window shop for gifts as you finish your favorite beverage.
The hours of operation for Sip & Stroll are Friday 4pm – 12am, Saturday 12p – 12am and Sunday 12pm – 7pm.
While much of holiday shopping these days is done online, this new and original approach promises to help brick and mortar stores mount a return and be the place to shop during the holidays, and this season is its first run.

Copper Blues Live is the only location at Desert Ridge Marketplace where customers can purchase alcohol and then stroll outdoors with the drink. The popular restaurant, comedy spot and entertainment venue says they expect this new way of enjoying a shopping center will help business across the center, especially during the holidays.
