Tempe election: Mayoral and City Council candidates sound off at Republic debate

Tempe mayor and City Council candidates drilled down on some of the most pressing issues affecting Tempe, and offered their solutions.

Council candidates Casey Clowes, Doreen Garlid and incumbents Randy Keating and Joel Navarro responded to approximately 90 minutes of questions at a forum on Friday in front of roughly 100 attendees at the Tempe History Museum.

Candidate Marc Norman did not attend after being in a car accident earlier in the week.

Expected to play a large role in the 2020 elections, growth again dominated the discussion as it did in 2018.
