‘Forever Legendary’: Phoenix Suns react to Kobe Bryant’s death

The Phoenix Suns were among those with stunned reactions to news that NBA legend and longtime rival Kobe Bryant and his daughter were killed in a helicopter crash Sunday.

Bryant, 41, died along with his daughter and seven others when the aircraft crashed northwest of Los Angeles Sunday morning.

The Suns posted a tweet with a photo of the team’s star guard, Devin Booker, shaking Bryant’s hand, along with the simple words “Rest In Peace, Mamba. Forever legendary,”( pictured above) a tribute to a player who starred for the rival Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years.
