Glendale Planning Commission approves plat for home development near Kellis High

The Glendale Planning Commission approved the preliminary plat for a 43-home development across the street from Raymond S. Kellis High School.

The development, called Rovey Park, is planned for a 15-acre property at the northeast corner of 89th and Orangewood avenues, across 89th Avenue from Kellis High.

The development’s density will be just over three homes per acre. The minimum lot size will be 60 feet by 125 feet.

Taylor Morrison is the builder and Hilgart Wilson is doing the design. The applicants will need a their final plat design approved by the commission before they can build.
