Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. and Scottsdale’s Taylor Morrison Home Corp. made Fortune’s 2020 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
Fortune publishes the list every year, based on surveys conducted with executives, directors, and analysts, who rate companies in their own industry on a number of criteria. Those criteria include investment value, quality of management and products, social responsibility and ability to attract talent. To make the list, a company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry.
Sprouts (Nasdaq: SFM) and Taylor Morrison (NYSE: TMHC) were the only Arizona-based company to make the list. Overall, Sprouts was ranked No. 275 out of the 500 companies listed. Taylor Morrison was No. 286.
