Arizona inched closer to the 4 million mark for active registered voters ahead of a busy 2020 election season.
The state added about 50,000 registered voters between October and December, according to a quarterly report released Wednesday by Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
Arizona had a total of 3.92 million active registered voters as of Jan. 2.
“We have several upcoming elections this year, so now is the perfect time for Arizonans who are eligible to vote to either register or update their voter registration,” Hobbs said in a press release.
