Hydrogen electric and electric vehicle manufacturer Nikola Motor Company revealed the latest addition to its product line on Monday — the Nikola Badger.
The Badger is a sleekly designed electric pickup truck designed to deliver 980 pound-feet of torque. The company touted in a press release that the electric vehicle has the ability to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds and has an estimated range of 600 miles.
The unveiling puts Nikola in direct competition with EV manufacturer Tesla Inc., which rolled out the Cybertruck in November. Nikola emphasized that its pickup truck is “engineered to outperform all electric pickup trucks on the market” when it comes to continuous towing capabilities, horsepower and range.
