Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing has bought 6 acres of land in Scottsdale for $5 million for a new headquarters and training center.
The land is at McDowell and Pima roads near the Loop 101 Freeway.The company has submitted site plans to the city of Scottsdale for the project, which includes a training center for workers.
“This was a tremendous opportunity to purchase a very visible corporate location with sightlines from both McDowell and the 101 freeway,” says Greg Hopley, an executive vice president with Colliers International which helped broker the deal.
“This property is surrounded by outstanding demographics in terms of labor pool and access to company clientele.”Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane welcomed the Goettl project. “We are delighted to welcome Goettl Corporate Headquarters to Scottsdale,” Lane said in a statement.
“Eighty years of business success in the Valley is an amazing legacy to bring to Scottsdale. We look forward to their positive economic impact and new job opportunities in our McDowell Road Corridor.”Goettl purchased the property from Southwest Next Land Fund 1, LLC. Hopley and Colliers represented Goettl. The seller was represented by Arizona Retail Services.
