Former Scottsdale City Councilwoman Lisa Borowsky has announced a bid for mayor.
Former Scottsdale City Councilwoman Lisa Borowsky is the latest candidate to announce a bid for mayor in what is shaping up to be a crowded race.
Borowsky served one term on the city council from 2009 to 2013. She did not seek a second term, instead making an unsuccessful bid for Arizona’s 9th Congressional District.
She is one of six candidates to announce a mayoral run, along with current City Council members Virginia Korte and Suzanne Klapp, former council members Bob Littlefield and David Ortega, and Tim Horn.
Borowsky, 54, is an attorney for the Scottsdale Law Group and a Scottsdale native.
