Infill projects planned in downtown Tempe

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Tempe City Council will consider plans for two infill development projects at its meeting tomorrow.

The Hudson Lane Condominiums and Loeding Lofts are both on the Tempe Council’s agenda. Both projects are located near Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe.

The Hudson Lane condos are an 11-unit, two-story development planned for Mill Avenue and Hudson Lane. The condos would be developed on two lots by ACG-Hudson Lane LLLP. The properties total 1.14 acres, according to city documents.

The Loeding Lofts are a three-home infill project proposed just west Mill Avenue at Sixth and Wilson Street.

Ryan Loeding (RBG and Bob Brookson are proposing building three new homes on the 0.19-acre downtown Tempe site. The property is currently vacant.

The Tempe Council will consider an amended subdivision plat plan for the Loeding Lofts and a final subdivision and condo plat plans for the Hudson condos.

The city is encouraging more housing options in its growing downtown area near Arizona State University’s main campus.
