Meritage Homes names IBM agency exec to board

Meritage Homes Corp. has appointed Kelly Mooney to its board as an independent director.

Mooney works for IBM iX North America, a digital marketing agency based in Columbus, Ohio, operated by IBM Corp., as chief experience officer. Prior to IBM iX, she was the co-owner and CEO of Resource/Ammirati, a strategic digital marketing firm, which she sold to IBM in 2016.

“Kelly possesses a strong strategic background and customer-centric perspective, which will complement our board’s breadth of talent and experience,” said Steven Hilton, Meritage Homes chairman and CEO, in a statement. “Her ability to identify and shape relevant customer experiences will help Meritage enhance its brand strategy, reach more customers and create deeper engagement.”
