Arizona’s newest Costco is under construction in Surprise, finally putting speculation about the retail giant’s arrival to rest.
The warehouse’s steel walls are taking shape on the southwest corner of Sarival Avenue and Waddell Road.
That makes it hard to deny that soon Surprise residents will be enjoying free samples and stocking up on bulk household goods without driving outside of the city.
Still, Costco remains silent on exactly when the new warehouse will open.
A Costco sign on the property says it will open in summer 2020, but that’s all the company is saying.
There’s another source, though, who said he is glad he is finally able to share what he knows.
