Peoria leaders want owner of Phoenix’s trendy Churchill to transform Old Town

Peoria leaders have spent years trying to revitalize the city’s historic Old Town and now hope a private developer can hit it home.

The city recently inked a tentative agreement to have Vintage Partners transform city-owned land in Old Town into a destination.

Phoenix-based developer Vintage Partners is behind trendy Phoenix spots such as Uptown Plaza near Central Avenue and Camelback Road. For the Old Town Peoria project, Vintage is partnering with one of the owners of the Churchill in downtown Phoenix.
