Peoria looks to help private bank convert restaurant space into offices

The city of Peoria is considering a $375,000 economic development grant for Bell Bank to open new offices at Bell Road and 83rd Avenue.


The Peoria City Council is scheduled to vote on the outlay at its March 24th meeting. The money will help Bell Bank convert a former restaurant space into commercial offices.


Bell Bank is a privately owned bank and is putting $6 million into the converting the former Cucina Tagliani restaurant building at 8349 West Bell Road.


Peoria’s economic development fund comes from sales tax revenue and aims to help business investment and job creation on the West Valley city.
