Washington’s next stimulus in response to the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, which has decimated jobs and shuttered much of America’s economy, could provide more money for businesses and extend programs from the previous legislative package.
But additional help to Americans isn’t going to come without a partisan fight and members of Arizona’s congressional delegation are pushing for more assistance for the state.

The White House and Senate Republicans, led by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., want to quickly inject an extra $250 billion to the new Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses.
