Fulton Homes is giving away 10 pool fences this summer to reduce the stigma of Arizona being one of the top states known for child drownings.
In Arizona, twice as many children drown compared to the national average, with most happening between June and Labor Day. Drowning is the second leading cause of injury deaths for children ages 1 to 14 years old, and the fifth leading cause of unintentional injury deaths for all ages in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“Fulton Homes prides itself on building homes that families love to own, and that includes more than the house itself,” said Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes.
