The Tempe City Council will consider plans for a 24-unit infill apartment complex at Guadalupe and Hardy roads.

Tempe’s Development Review Commission voted in January to deny previous plans by Las Vegas-based Jinstage LLC for the apartments.

The developer has appealed that decision and is asking the city to approve a use permit for the multifamily project. The development is called Jinstage Tempe is on 1.43 acres.

The developer modified its plans including 24 units instead of the previously proposed 28 units. The height of the project is being reduced to two stories from three.

Those new plans are before the Tempe City Council today.
