More infill housing proposed in downtown Tempe

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Several new infill apartment and housing developments have been proposed in Tempe. The city is also looking to bring new housing options to its popular downtown area near Arizona State University’s main campus, Mill Avenue and developments along Tempe Town Lake.

That includes a small proposed multifamily building slated to be built north of University Drive near Farmer Avenue.

The infill project would be built on a vacant lot that was previously the site of a single-family home.

The 430 West 7th Street Apartments call for a three-story new building with four unit each with a two-car garage and backyard areas. The land is owned by the Christye Flanagan 2012 Irrevocable Trust.

The Tempe City Council will look at development plans for the infill project at its meeting today.
