A gated Arizona estate with its own soccer field has sold for $17.5 million. That is just shy of the $19.25 million record generated late last year by the sale of Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver’s estate nearby.
This just-sold estate, which came on the market last fall asking $21 million, went into contract in February, before the coronavirus outbreak was in the headlines. Joan Levinson, the listing agent, said it wasn’t clear how the pandemic would affect the affluent Paradise Valley market, which has been strong in recent months, especially for new homes.
While she has taken some properties off the market, she remains optimistic. “I don’t think it’s going to crush our market or heavily affect our prices,” she said.
